SoNic · #2 · Apr 15, 2021 (Edited) Push UP the slide catch/release button. Slide needs to be held captive when you rotate that lever. Same when you assembly it back - lever has to be fully rotated. And obviously, the magazine has to be removed first, per the manual indication. See here exactly:
